敏塔是24歲的現代舞者，她想在新劇《羅摩衍那》中飾演西達一角。她需要這個演出機會來向家人及世界證明，她想當舞者的夢想。同時她也極需這筆錢來繳帳單。可是這個角色需要同時具有善良與邪惡的一面，而敏塔太善良了。 　　於是導演選擇了敏塔的競爭對手吉娜來飾演這個角色，敏塔則淪為配角。這次的落選喚醒了敏塔的黑暗面。一名女鬼願意協助敏塔培養她的黑暗面。只是這名女鬼過於惡毒，做得過火，造成吉娜遭遇一場嚴重可怕的意外。但也因此，敏塔重新獲得飾演西達的機會。

在留下了痛苦的过去之后，莎拉搬入新公寓中生活，原本以为可亲的邻居却隐藏着可怕的秘密。
